Perhaps now is the time for you to explore the opportunities for
deepening your spiritual practice as you enjoy compassionately serving others in
this dynamic regional chapter.
Contact Rachael Cave, Co-coordinator at 619-596-7665, to match your interests with COSD’s
needs and put you in touch with the appropriate service team in the following
areas:
Any Spanish speaking person who
is interested in serving our Spanish community as a prayer group leader or
facilitator for follow-up sessions after the Centering Prayer Introductory
Workshop.
Any persons interested in the COSD Prison Outreach.
We are in need at this time of
service on
the Communications Service Team to train as backup in one or more of these
areas: publicity, web-site administration or newsletter design.
Anyone interested in other areas of service who can backup or take over for others in case of illness, vacation, or end of their term of service.
Become a co-chair or help in any capacity on the "Friends Dinner," our major fund raiser.
Without question, one of the greatest services to our Regional Chapter is
in helping COSD maintain its financial
strength. Actually, it’s so easy
to forget, or overlook the fact, that tithing and the generous donation of
financial support is an integral part of
our spiritual practice. Without
compassionate “giving” on all levels, our spiritual practice remains flat and
shallow.
